“The matrimonial covenant, by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life … has been raised by Christ the Lord to the dignity of a sacrament.”

—The Catechism of the Catholic Church, 1601

Wedding planning is a lot.

From the moment you say, “Yes!” you will be flooded with decisions to make. I know when I was planning my own wedding, it felt like a race to the finish line; I was just hoping to find enough hours in the day to get everything done. There were so many ideas to keep track of, so many opinions that I wanted to take into consideration — food, color schemes, decor, parties, guest lists, budgets…

And that wasn’t even counting the most important part of the day: our wedding.

I searched high and low but wasn’t able to find a physical book to help me set aside all of the (ultimately) insignificant details and focus on the Sacrament. It was easy to lose sight of the whole point of all of this: a lifelong relationship with my husband that (God willing!) leads to Heaven.

Covenant is here to help.

Covenant Wedding Planner monthly view at 8 months out. Header reads "8+ months out." Page includes checklist for "Between now and 7 months out." Below, includes space for listing venue names and appointment dates and times.

For your wedding

From ceremony to reception, the Covenant Wedding Planner includes all major decisions the Catholic bride will have to make for her big day. This planner breaks down the details into an easy-to-digest timeline, allowing you to focus on the fun. Including helpful tools like a registry checklist, budget tracker, photo suggestions, and all of the Mass reading options, the Covenant Wedding Planner goes above and beyond other planners — not to mention, it’s the only journal-style Catholic wedding planner on the market!

Overview pages give a quick view of many decisions in clear check-lists to keep you organized.

Monthly View breaks down the planning process into detail-oriented, easy-to-navigate pages organized by month so nothing is forgotten or overlooked.

The Wedding section walks couples through planning their Catholic wedding ceremony, with or without Mass. Showcases the full selection of readings, music suggestions, and more. Features wide spacing and margins to facilitate meditation and prayer as you reflect on your beautiful ceremony.

For your marriage

But the wedding isn’t the whole story. Engagement isn’t supposed to be entirely dedicated to wedding planning! This special time should be spent in prayer, reflecting on why you are choosing to enter this sacrament with your fiancé, falling deeper into a love that you will foster until death.

The Monthly View features pages for reflection to help brides stay the course. It’s my hope that you return to these pages throughout your marriage to remember the excitement and why you choose your spouse.

The Wedding was designed with wide line-spacing and margins to facilitate meditation and prayer as you reflect on God’s role in your future marriage. While the wedding ritual is prescribed, you can still make it your own and demonstrate the inseparable nature of God and marriage through your readings and Mass selections.
