Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 18, 2026
Welcome to Covenant Co. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Covenant Co. website and your purchase and use of products offered through the website. By accessing or using the website, creating an account, or placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
Covenant Co. is a Tennessee sole proprietorship operating under the registered assumed name “Covenant Co.” These Terms apply to all purchases and use of content through the Covenant Co. website.
1. Use of the Website
You may use this website for lawful personal and commercial purposes consistent with these Terms.
You agree not to use the website to:
Violate any applicable law or regulation;
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the website, another person's account, or any associated system;
Interfere with the operation or security of the website;
Use automated means to access, copy, scrape, or reproduce website content without permission;
Reproduce, distribute, sell, or exploit Covenant Co. content or products except as expressly permitted by these Terms; or
Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise unlawful activity.
You must provide accurate information when creating an account or placing an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
Creating an account is optional. You may purchase products without creating an account where that option is available.
2. Products and Product Information
Covenant Co. offers physical and digital products, including but not limited to books, journals, prayer beads, rosaries, stickers, jewelry boxes, pouches, crucifixes, and other products that may be added to the shop in the future.
Some products are handmade, while others are sourced from third-party manufacturers or wholesalers.
We make reasonable efforts to provide accurate descriptions, photographs, dimensions, pricing, availability, and other product information. However, colors and appearance may vary depending on your device or display settings, and handmade products may have minor variations consistent with their handmade nature.
Product availability is subject to change. We reserve the right to discontinue products, limit quantities, correct errors, and modify product offerings at any time.
3. Orders and Order Acceptance
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products. An order is not necessarily accepted merely because you have completed checkout or received an automated order confirmation.
Covenant Co. reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or limit an order for any lawful reason, including but not limited to:
Product availability;
Errors in product descriptions or pricing;
Suspected fraudulent or unauthorized transactions;
Shipping or billing problems;
Orders that appear to violate these Terms; or
Other circumstances that make fulfillment impracticable.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, we will refund the amount paid for the canceled order.
4. Pricing and Payment
Prices displayed on the website are subject to change without notice. Applicable sales tax and shipping charges will be added as required.
Payments for website orders are processed through third-party payment processors, including Stripe and PayPal. By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Covenant Co. does not receive or store your full payment-card information when payment is processed through these third-party providers. Their respective terms and privacy policies govern their processing of payment information.
5. Shipping and Delivery
Covenant Co. ships products to the destinations and under the shipping options offered at checkout.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Covenant Co. is not responsible for delays, additional shipping costs, lost packages, or other problems resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
If a customer refuses delivery of a package or otherwise causes a package to be returned to Covenant Co., the customer is not entitled to a refund solely because the package was refused or returned.
Shipping estimates are estimates rather than guarantees. Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery may be affected by circumstances outside Covenant Co.'s control.
6. Damaged, Defective, Missing, or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives defective or damaged, please contact Covenant Co. promptly after delivery. If the product is defective or damaged, we will generally replace it. If a replacement is unavailable because the product is out of stock, we will provide a refund for the affected product.
For items damaged during transit, Covenant Co. will work with the shipping carrier regarding the shipping claim. Customers should retain the packaging and damaged item and may be asked to provide photographs or other information necessary to document the damage.
If Covenant Co. sends an incorrect item, we will provide instructions for returning the incorrect item and, where appropriate, provide a return shipping label. Once the incorrect item is returned as instructed, we will fulfill the correct item.
If an item is missing from an order, Covenant Co. will fulfill the missing item or otherwise resolve the issue appropriately.
7. Returns and Refunds
Books
Physical books purchased from Covenant Co. may be returned for a refund when all of the following conditions are met:
You contact Covenant Co. within 14 days of delivery;
The book remains completely shrink-wrapped and unopened; and
The book is returned in accordance with the instructions provided by Covenant Co.
Once the returned book is received and its condition is confirmed, Covenant Co. will refund the price paid for the book. Original shipping charges are not refundable.
Customers are responsible for return shipping unless Covenant Co. determines that the return is necessary because the wrong, defective, or damaged product was sent.
Other Physical Products
Except where required by applicable law or where an item is defective, damaged, missing, or incorrectly fulfilled as described above, physical products other than books are final sale and are not eligible for return or refund.
Digital Products
Because digital products can be downloaded, copied, or accessed immediately, digital products are non-refundable once purchased, downloaded, or accessed, except where a refund is required by applicable law or Covenant Co. determines that a technical or fulfillment problem warrants a refund.
8. Digital Products and Permitted Use
Covenant Co. may offer digital products including PDFs, planning resources, worksheets, templates, and other downloadable materials.
Unless otherwise stated for a particular product, purchasing a digital product gives you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use that product for its intended purpose. You do not acquire ownership of the copyright or other intellectual-property rights in the product.
Wedding Planning Resources
Some Covenant Co. digital planning resources are designed to be used by a bride, groom, or wedding party for the planning and execution of a particular wedding.
For that purpose, the purchaser may:
Download and save the purchased resource;
Print as many copies as reasonably needed for that wedding;
Distribute printed copies to members of the wedding party, family members, vendors, or other participants in that wedding;
Share the digital resource privately by email or a private file-sharing link when reasonably necessary for participants in that wedding; and
Modify or complete the resource for the purchaser's own wedding when the product is designed to be completed or customized by the purchaser.
These permissions are limited to the purchaser's own wedding and its participants. They do not authorize the purchaser to provide the resource to another person for that person's own wedding.
You may not:
Resell, sublicense, or commercially distribute a digital product;
Give or transfer a purchased resource to another person for that person's independent use;
Upload a resource to a publicly accessible website, file-sharing service, social-media post, or other public location;
Reproduce or distribute a resource as a substitute for purchasing it;
Modify a resource for the purpose of selling, licensing, or distributing the modified version;
Remove copyright or proprietary notices; or
Use Covenant Co. digital products to create a competing product or service.
Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of digital products violates these Terms and Covenant Co.'s intellectual-property rights.
9. The Covenant Catholic Wedding Planner
Covenant Co.'s primary book is an informational and planning resource intended to help brides, grooms, and wedding parties plan and prepare for Catholic weddings.
The book contains suggestions, recommendations, explanations, planning guidance, and other educational material intended to assist readers in organizing their wedding.
The book does not establish or determine the requirements of the Catholic Church, any diocese, parish, priest, celebrant, or other Church authority. Parish and diocesan practices and requirements may differ.
Information in the book should therefore be understood as general planning guidance rather than a definitive statement of what a particular parish or diocese requires. Readers should consult their priest, parish, diocese, or other appropriate Church authority regarding requirements applicable to their particular wedding.
Covenant Co. does not guarantee that any particular recommendation, practice, schedule, vendor, ceremony option, or other suggestion contained in the book will be permitted or appropriate for a particular wedding or parish.
The book is not professional, legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice, and Covenant Co. does not represent it as such.
10. Copyright and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, the Covenant Co. website and its original content—including text, graphics, photographs, product designs, logos, trademarks, digital products, and other materials—are owned by or licensed to Covenant Co. and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
The Covenant Co. Catholic wedding planning book is protected by copyright. Covenant Co. owns the copyright in the original material contained in the book.
The book also contains certain third-party copyrighted materials used under license, including materials licensed from organizations such as the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB), the Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD), and the International Commission on English in the Liturgy (ICEL). Such third-party material remains subject to the rights of its respective copyright owners and the applicable licenses.
The book may also contain licensed artwork or other third-party materials used with permission. Such materials do not become the property of Covenant Co. merely because they appear in a Covenant Co. product.
Except where expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law, you may not reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, publicly display, sell, license, or otherwise exploit Covenant Co.'s copyrighted material without prior written permission.
Purchasing a Covenant Co. product does not transfer ownership of Covenant Co.'s intellectual property to the purchaser.
11. Blog and Informational Content
Covenant Co. may publish blog posts and other informational content relating to Catholic weddings, wedding planning, prayer, products, and other subjects.
Blog and website content is provided for general informational and educational purposes. Covenant Co. makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate information but does not guarantee that all information will remain current, complete, or error-free.
Information provided on the website does not create a professional, legal, financial, medical, or other professional relationship between you and Covenant Co.
Covenant Co. may occasionally link to third-party websites or resources for informational purposes. Covenant Co. does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, availability, policies, products, services, or practices. A link does not necessarily constitute an endorsement or recommendation.
12. Customer Photos, Testimonials, and Communications
Customers may voluntarily share photographs of Covenant Co. products on social media or contact Covenant Co. with comments, feedback, or testimonials.
Covenant Co. does not claim ownership of customer-created photographs or other customer-owned content merely because it relates to Covenant Co. products.
If Covenant Co. wishes to republish customer-created content, Covenant Co. may request permission before doing so. Permission may be limited to the specific use agreed upon by the customer and Covenant Co.
Customers should not send Covenant Co. confidential information through ordinary email or other general communication channels unless specifically requested.
13. Email Communications
By placing an order or otherwise providing your email address, you may receive transactional communications relating to your order, account, purchases, or use of the website.
If you separately subscribe to Covenant Co.'s marketing communications, you may receive newsletters, product announcements, promotions, and other marketing communications. You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe mechanism provided in the email.
Unsubscribing from marketing communications does not prevent Covenant Co. from sending necessary transactional or service-related communications.
14. Wholesale Orders
Covenant Co. may accept wholesale orders on a case-by-case basis.
Wholesale purchases may be subject to separate pricing, payment, shipping, return, minimum-order, or other terms communicated to the wholesale customer before or in connection with the order. Where separate written wholesale terms apply, those terms will govern the wholesale transaction to the extent they conflict with these Terms.
15. Third-Party Services
Certain functions of the website, including payment processing, shipping, website hosting, analytics, or other services, may be provided by third-party companies.
Those third parties may have their own terms and privacy policies. Covenant Co. is not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, policies, or technical failures of third-party service providers, except to the extent required by applicable law.
16. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Covenant Co. website and its informational content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
Covenant Co. does not guarantee that the website will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or harmful components.
Product warranties, where applicable, are limited to those expressly provided by Covenant Co. or the applicable manufacturer and to rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.
17. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Covenant Co. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the website or purchase or use of Covenant Co. products.
Covenant Co.'s liability relating to a particular product or transaction will, to the extent permitted by law, be limited to the amount actually paid for the product or transaction giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited or excluded under applicable law.
18. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to be responsible for losses, claims, liabilities, damages, and reasonable expenses arising from your violation of these Terms, your unlawful use of the website, or your infringement of the rights of Covenant Co. or another party.
19. Changes to These Terms
Covenant Co. may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will become effective when the revised Terms are posted on the website unless a different effective date is stated.
Your continued use of the website or purchase of products after revised Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
20. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Tennessee, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any dispute that is not otherwise resolved between you and Covenant Co. will be subject to the jurisdiction of courts located in Tennessee to the extent permitted by applicable law.
21. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
22. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with any policies or additional terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement between you and Covenant Co. concerning your use of the website and purchases made through it.
If a separate written agreement applies to a particular transaction, that agreement will control to the extent of any conflict with these Terms.
23. Contact
If you have questions about these Terms, an order, a product, or a return, please contact Covenant Co. through the contact information provided on the website.
