July Update 2021

Thanks so much for being here! It’s been a super successful July and I just wanted to give everyone some updates, details, and what to expect from Covenant moving forward. Be sure to read all the way to the end for some exciting news!

Sneak peeks and website photos went LIVE!

And that’s all thanks to YOU! As all of you know, last week I shared inside photos of Covenant for the very first time. I can’t even express how overwhelmed I am by all of the love and support I’ve received. It’s so surreal. This whole project began as a desire for my own wedding planning and has officially been revealed to the world as a real, tangible tool to help brides and couples plan their wedding and prepare for marriage.

Be on the lookout for a new blog series — launching next week!

Starting in August, Covenant will be releasing a bi-monthly blog series about married saints. As Catholics, we look to the saints so much for intercession but I feel like we often don’t know about married saints. When you think about it, the saints we most often associate with marriage — like St. Valentine and St. Raphael the Archangel — weren’t actually married! That doesn’t make their intercession any less powerful, but sometimes that makes them hard to imitate when we are looking for an example of how to live married life well.

This new blog series will focus on married saints, how we should imitate them, and what makes them great role models. Many of saints featured in this series are actually married to each other! Praise be to God!

This series will start off strong with a couple I hadn’t heard about until I began investigating our wonderful married saints: Blesseds Luigi & Maria Beltrame Quattrocchis, the first married saints to be beatified on the same day. Their story is so beautiful and exciting, it brought me to tears! If only we can all be so lucky as to share a feast day with our spouse someday!

New prayer request form @ covenantco.org/prayers

Over my years working for various Catholic publishing houses, I’ve learned that sometimes it’s just easier to ask a stranger for prayers. Through various outlets, we received countless requests for prayers… for miraculous healings, for relationships, for future endeavors, and sometimes we received prayers of gratitude or thanksgiving for happy and joyful experiences.

I wanted create an avenue that would allow anyone in the Covenant community to ask for prayers, even if you wanted to stay completely anonymous. I’ve added a short form on the website where you can feel free to express any prayer requests you might have and I will take them to my personal prayer time. Let me pray for you.

Finally, drumroll please…

The planners have arrived at the Covenant Co. headquarters! Do you know what that means? Pre-orders will go live SOON! Everyone who signs up for the newsletter (that means YOU GUYS!) will be the very first to know when pre-orders are available so you can get ahead of the crowd and grab your own copy of Covenant! If you want more behind-the-scenes footage as we get closer and closer to pre-orders, be sure to follow on social media for live updates and pictures.

Thanks so much for being here! I’ll be praying for you!
