Happy two-year anniversary, Covenant Co.!

Two years ago, Covenant Co. went live!

I am a list-maker. I have so many to-dos going on in my brain that sometimes I feel like I’m going to explode if I try to remember them all.

When I was getting married, I immediately started searching for physical wedding planners to help me keep things straight. Lists help me quiet the internal monologue because they mean I don’t have to remember everything myself!

In 2020 (yes, that’s unfortunately when I was planning my wedding), I searched and searched for a Catholic-focused wedding planner, but I couldn’t find one! Tons of extremely helpful lists and resources but that meant leaving a bunch of tabs open on my computer and hoping I didn’t close something before I finished it. I made lists on my Notes app so my (then) fiancé and I could look together. I had a separate generic wedding planner that I used for all of the reception planning.

I felt like there had to be a better way! I had a background in working for small Catholic publishers, so I knew if I set my mind to it, I could create the product I was looking for.

And in 2021, the Covenant Wedding Planner was released into the world! Since then, I’ve expanded to include fun resources (sticker prayer reminders, beautiful prayer-focused bookmarks), journals for everyday writers, heirloom quality prayer tools (rosaries, sacrifice beads, chotki), practical items for your wedding day like the emergency kit pouch, and more in the months to come!

Plus a little announcement…

I have begun work on a brand new second-edition of Covenant! This news is more exciting for the long-term followers than current brides. It won’t be ready in time for your wedding, but many of you have so graciously (and wonderfully and amazingly and I-can’t-wrap-my-mind-around-it-ly) gifted or shared news about Covenant to the bride in your life, and I can’t wait for them to use it.

As all of you who are married know, a lot can change in a year!

Some of you have been here from the beginning... and I thank you. Covenant Co. wouldn't still be here without you.

Some of you are brand new -- even as of this week! -- and I thank you, too. Covenant Co. wouldn't still be here without you.

Some of you are brides. Some of you are friends. Some of you are mothers. Some of you work for the Church and want to know what resources are out there!

To my great surprise, many of you are brothers or uncles or guy friends of brides! I never expected as many men to purchase a planner as I have experienced!

I thank you. Thank you for all of your support and thank you for believing in the power of marriage.

xoxo,

Marissa @ Covenant Co.
